On all of our residential projects, we work on a time and materials basis. The main advantage of this method of compensation is its adaptability to changing needs and the unforeseen aspects of any project. It is fair to you and to us, inasmuch as our compensation matches our effort. Our architectural fee is typically between 10%-15% of the market construction costs, and is, on average, in the vicinity of 12% to 13% of the Market Construction Costs. The percentage projections exclude the Preparation of As-Built drawings, which constitute an additional service. Where budget concerns are paramount, we are also able to recommend a limited scope of services that can bring our architectural fee into the realm of 6% to 8% of the Market Construction Costs.
